Senior school

Just 2 more weeks to find out if my boy has been allocated a place at the same senior school as his brother. I'm sure there are numerous of us in the same situation.

Sure he will be @MrsJ

Re: Senior school

Fingers crossed for you @MrsJ.

I hate reading about disappointed children, especially those who live next to a school but have to travel miles because of the one they are allocated to.

I don't remember this problem, when we were at school, we just went to the nearest school to our homes.

Good luck @MrsJ

Having a brother there is a big plus (from the admission point of view...) Smiley Happy

Re: Senior school

Keeping everything crossed for you @MrsJ.  Just as @tommiesgirl says, it was a lot easier in our day and,  when our children went to school too.

If you don't ask, you will never know the answer!

Re: Senior school

               THE DILEMMA

Soon the school will have to say

Do we accept from Mrs j

A well behaved and mannered lad

Or some toerag scroat who's always bad

I would put you're mind at rest

The schools will usually try their best

To fill the classes with higher passes

That way the teachers don't look like asses.

Re: Senior school

Good one @Tombola, I know @MrsJ will enjoy it too.

Her children are definitely the well behaved ones you mention

Re: Senior school

When they're not behaving as they should it's behind our own closed doors!
